With an extensive background immersed in the world of events over the last 10 years, Layla has successfully delivered complex programmes across the corporate, tech and charity sectors. Layla has worked across the globe producing and managing events in the UK, Europe, America and Asia; always giving her personal touch to make clients feel at ease and confident in her delivery. Layla is also a well respected leader and has grown and nurtured lots of talent on her way.
In her personal life, Layla is dog mum to 2 King Charles Cavaliers, she is the connoisseur of Espresso Martinis and enjoys her life by the beach. 🏖️
Daniel Newman-Schultz
Co-Founder
Daniel’s heart for creating exceptional event experiences started from a young age, spearheading community fundraising events. From launching national exhibitions to editing global podcasts and certification courses, Daniel brings a perfect blend of creativity, dedication and professionalism to the team. Working as both an organiser and contractor in the exhibition and conference industries, Daniel’s experience in managing successful events spans across the globe. With solution-focused, logical dedication he earns the respect of clients and partners alike.
Beyond the office, Dan and his husband are proud parents to their dog and a newborn daughter (2022), eagerly awaiting the arrival of their second child in early 2024. When not immersed in family life, Dan indulges in his passions for drumming, musicals, and 2-4-1 cocktails! 🍹🎶👶
Jayne Groll Ray
Strategic Advisor
Jayne Groll Ray was the original founder and President of ITSM Academy as well as the CEO and co-founder of the DevOps Institute. Jayne’s driving success in B2B startups is based on her human-first management style, strategic innovation and passion for thought leadership and education for the corporate professional. Jayne is a well respected advocate for humanity in technology and has spoken at countless national, virtual and international events on the topic.
Jayne is particularly excited to work with the talented BroadVent team to help shape the future of event management and event marketing through an immersive, sustainable and targeted approach.
Marc Halcrow
Strategic Advisor
Marc Halcrow began his career in event management while at the World Bank in Washington, DC and was fortunate to be at the organisation during the millennium celebrations in collaboration with the White House. The focus of the conferences were on culture and sustainable development, micro-finance and the environment where he worked with conference venues in the US and in Florence, Italy along with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, White House, IMF, and private sector organisations engaging with the staff of Heads of State, CEOs, Nobel Laureates and other high-level officials.
Most recently Marc was part of the team that conceived the event line of business at DevOps Institute providing a forum for speakers and sponsors to engage with the end-user community. In this capacity, Marc supported the team that delivered the events on a day-to-day basis while being part of the team that defined the strategy and calendar of events for the year.
In his personal life, Marc enjoys volunteering and horseback riding and spends his time primarily in Naples, FL and Highlands, NC.
