Remote-First Working

BroadVent is a remote-first company. Our team works from home or locations close to home, reducing daily travel emissions. Video calls are our default, and in-person meetings only happen when essential—or when they can be combined with other work, such as venue visits.

Equipment and Events

We operate as a paperless business, using digital tools for admin and accounting to cut material waste. At physical events, we prioritise eco-friendly options wherever possible. This includes avoiding single-use plastics and sourcing signage that is ethically produced and recyclable.

Technology

We recognise that e-waste is one of today’s biggest environmental challenges. To address this, we:

• Use cloud technology to reduce local resource use.

• Purchase refurbished laptops and equipment whenever possible.

• Aim to extend the life of all technology before replacing it.

Travel

Our global network allows us to deliver solutions efficiently while reducing travel. We aim to use local teams wherever possible and encourage sustainable transport when travel is required.

Branding & Merchandise

When sourcing items for clients, such as SWAG, branding, and merchandise, we carefully consider the environmental impact of our choices. Whenever feasible, we prioritise eco-friendly materials and suppliers. Sustainability is always a key factor in what we supply or produce, making the greenest option the default.

We review our sustainability practices regularly, typically every quarter, to ensure we remain committed and continue improving.
